Reintroducing Peranakan Culture
Appreciating the Peranakan
Due to modernisation, the younger generation does not show much interest in traditional cultures. Eventually, traditional cultures will be forgotten. With this project, I hope to re-approach Gen Z on the Peranakan Culture by collaborating with McDonalds to create a series of Peranakan fast food fusion, in hopes to spark an interests in Gen Z on the culture.

Baba Set Mockup
The Baba Set comes with an otak-otak shrimp burger, fries, bubur-chacha pie and coke. The burger comes in a wrapper instead of a box, which is why the box is white and has no design.
Tiffin Carrier
The tiffin packaging has 2 tiers. On the bottom, it carries the burger and sauce. On the top, it carries fries and pie. Because the top tier is not covered all the way, this will help prevent the fries and pie from getting soggy, maintaining the food texture and quality.
Sauces Mockup
Consumers will get to choose between lemongrass sauce or belacan sauce.

When motorcyclist hits an obstacle, information on the item pops out
Obstacles: items seen in Peranakan homes such as tiffin carrier, bakul siah and kuih
How to play: tap to jump, avoid all obstacles and obtain all the McD meals
Once collected all the meals, user can screenshot to redeem free pie

Motorcyclist Hits Obstacle
If the motorcyclist hits an obstacle, information regarding the obstacle will pop out. An example of hitting a tiffin carrier is shown below.

Goal is for people to have basic understanding towards the culture
